Acai Bowl

Acai bowls are honestly my favorite treat in the entire world. I love getting them with my friends, my cousin, and especially after a workout! I didn't always enjoy making them because I could never figure out how to get the exact right consistency. All the smoothie places in Boston have a secret, I swear! Since quarantine started, I have worked to perfect a recipe so I could continue to enjoy acai bowls! For a perfect finish, I put them in my Coconut Bowls! Ingredients:
10 frozen strawberries
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1 tbsp of açaí powder or 1 frozen açaí packet
1/2 cup of non-dairy milk (I love almond or oat)
(optional: 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder)
Favorite Toppings:
- granola
- coconut, shredded or flakes
- chia & flax seeds
- pumpkin seeds
- goji berries
- almond butter
Steps:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender on low until smooth (use spatula to scrape down sides) and put in your Coconut Bowls.
2. Decorate with all your favorite toppings and enjoy!
