Pickled Onions
Ingredients:
1 red onion
1 cup of warm water
1/2 cup of white vinegar or apple cider vinegar (I like white)
1 tbsp natural maple syrup
sprinkle of salt
Steps:
1. Slice onion thinly and place in a sealable jar.
2. Add other ingredients, shake until well mixed.
3. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour, then store in the fridge (up to 3 weeks).
4. Enjoy on salads, sandwiches, tacos, and avocado toast!
